The MPDSR scorecard tracks key maternal and perinatal death indicators in all the secondary health facilities in Lagos state from October to December 2017
The Scorecard findings facilitate a review and analysis process which aims at identifying areas requiring system strengthening.
Based on the Scorecard results; the Lagos State Accountability Mechanism for Maternal and Newborn Health (LaSAM) Ask the Lagos state Ministry of Health to:
- Employ more Medical/Health Personnels (all the cadres) for the General Hospitals in Lagos State
- Request that the Primary Health Care (PHC) Board ensures that its officers adheres strictly to the referral Policy of the state vis a vis early referral of cases
- Supply Service Delivery Protocols (SDPs) to all the facilities that do not have SDPs
