The African Union's Campaign on Accelerated Reduction of Maternal, Newborn and Child Mortality in Africa, CARMMA, aims to trigger greater action towards improving the survival of mothers and newborns across Africa. CARMMA produces country scorecards that show progress against eight indicators affecting maternal, newborn and child survival.
