What works to improve the health of women and children?

E4A-MamaYe collaborated with PMNCH (the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health) to identify the actions, policies and solutions from 10 countries making substantial progress in improving women and children’s health.The booklet "Success Factors - What can we learn about making progress on women’s and children’s health?" draws on an analysis of 10 countries which are on-track to meeting their Millennium Development Goal (MDG) targets for maternal and child health. The booklet can be downloaded here:www.who.int/pmnch/knowledge/publications/successfactors/en/MamaYe at the UN General AssemblyThe Success Factors booklet will be launched at the UN General Assembly (UNGA) this week and will be followed by 10 in depth reports on how countries have made progress to improve the health of their women and children.   We hope these lessons serve as an impetus for change in other settings!
