Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) is a comprehensive and participatory approach to achieving organizational learning and development. it is a participatory process, self-scored, and should help identify strengths and weaknesses of an organization or coalitions.

It provides a framework to facilitate reflection on an organization's trajectory. Enables stakeholders to identify shared concerns and priority actions.

What is it?

This tool was developed and used by the E4A-MamaYe team in 2020 and readapted to help coalitions assessing and achieving a comprehensive and participatory approach to achieving organizational learning and development.​ This tool will support coalitions in identifying strengths and weaknesses​ to build up on to achieve their objectives.

A 'GUIDE TO COALITION BUILDING'

This training tool is part of the ‘Guide to Coalition building’ developed by E4A-MamaYe and designed for advocates to navigate through the complex journey of building and sustaining a coalition.

It shares approaches and learnings gathered on the project since its start in 2012 with insights provided by the E4A-MamaYe teams in Nigeria and Kenya.
