NIGERIA RMNCAH+N GFF INVESTMENT CASE BRIEF
The Nigeria Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, Adolescent Health and Nutrition- RMNCAH+N investment case outlines the focus areas of intervention and the level of funding set aside for implementation.
Civil Society Organisations critically analyzed the investment case with the aim of identifying the roles of CSOs in ensuring that the RMNCAH+N interventions are fully implemented and funds are spent judiciously through transparent process.
Some of the roles CSOs will be engaging at national and sub-national level are:
- To access community needs and draw up advocacy activities that ensure needs are met
- Develop scorecards to track performance of service
- Use media platforms to sensitize the public on the Minimum Health Care Package and the benefits of the intervention for community members especially those in the rural areas.
