From our humble beginning in Arusha back in January 2013 to catalysing country-wide accountability so that mothers and babies can survive, we give credit to the great work of radio stations have been a great link to all key stakeholders—the government, politicians, civil society, and citizens.
During the lead up to the General Elections in Tanzania radio journalists provided outstanding support to Mama Ye! assignment by providing extensive coverage of Members of Parliament Candidate pledges to MNH in their constituencies. A highly motivated group of journalists had produced 109 news items — 61 radio, 47 newspapers.
