LAGOS STATE MNCH SCORECARD JUL-DEC 2017

The Data used is an extraction from DHIS2, District Vaccination Data management Tool - DVDMT, Lagos Bureau of statistics and the Lagos state Ministry of Health Family Planning Unit (Public Data only). The scorecard was produced by the Lagos State Accountability Mechanism for Maternal and Newborn Health (SLAMS) in February, 2018 with support from MamaYe - Evidence for Action.

From the scorecard indicators, the overall maternal and newborn health performance is improving especially in Public Health Facilities in Lagos. This is why the SLAMs are advocating for the State Ministry of Health to actively engage the Private health Facilities in the state in order to improve the overall quality of data they submit and to increase compliance to monthly data rendition.
