This Family Planning scorecard reflects the efforts of the Lagos state Ministry of Health to monitor and improve Family Planning services in Lagos state from January to June, 2018.
The Lagos state Accountability Mechanism for Maternal and Newborn Health (LaSAM) ask the Lagos state Ministry of Health to;
- Increase the number of PHCs with trained providers of Adolescent Reproductive Health services
- Increase the number of health workers from comprehensive PHCs trained as FP providers
- train Local government Logistics management Coordination Unit (LMCU) members on contraceptive logistics management system (CLMS)
- Release in a timely manner allocated budget for Family Planning at all levels
- Add a separate budget line to the routine monitoring checklist for regular tracking of facilities that have FP information materials
