Jigawa State Maternal Death Review Scorecard June – August 2015

This scorecard tracks key maternal  death review (MDR) indicators across hospitals in Jigawa State.  The indicators in this scorecard are based on Nigeria’s Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR) national guidelines.   The scorecard uses facility data from June-August 2015. The scorecard has three advocacy messages:

1. Every maternal death death is reviewed
2. Ensure that findings of MDRs are acted upon
3. Increased resources to institutionalise MDRs in the State
